Madison Square Garden & Andrea Boccelli

Andrea Bocelli is blind and he is a world famous Italian singer. What a voice, what a concert. We had a private box, with drinks and food. That's power and this is the modern day amphi-theatre. The crowds are about 50000, and there was no jostling, shoving or pushing, unlike in india where we stand for 3-4 hours to see a concert. This is another planet. Madison Square Garden concert. 

Back to tropical weather

So here we are ! Back to the tropical mumbai dressing - switching gears from New York 10 days ago ! Nothing like home ! @ villa italy ! 

New Year Glow in mumbai

The new year Kickstarted in a trans-Atlantic flight. And watching the movies Martian and the intern back to back. Landed in mumbai and have the winter glow of New York City. Well, if one can tackle 30 years of living in the mumbai megalolis, New York from a standpoint is a super easy place. Stimulated, energised and ready to start my best year of living. Wishing you a happy 2016 as well. 

The year cannot close without fitness

Yes ! I hit the gym after one year hiatus. Realise how much I am a fitness girl. Already feel good. Those are mom's shoes. Did some soft yoga this year but was at the gym in march 3 days only. Consistency is the key to health. Pumped up ! 

Dexter Dhillon

Happy Birthday Dexter Dhillon. He was a pug put up for adoption by the naughty 15 year old who surrepentiously got him home during his board exams. I took him up. Not only is he the apple of everyone's eyes - he also inspired the Dexter print - hand blocked  and has a whole collection names after him. He chases dogs twice his size, true to his name: he is Dexter!!!!  Here he is, 4 years old, and raring to go !

No U Turns:

Just as this symbolic sign behind me says: No Turns. Never look back, always walk forward and the path unfolds bit by bit as surely as the sun rises daily. We never have the exact game plan drawn out prior to the war, one can never have the whole picture but taking it each mile at a time, the road ahead unfolds. The greatest city in the world, is a beast, and to conquer it one needs to be made of steel, which I am.  Harsh and exhilarating in its duality, I see new facets of New York in these 78 days. I'll be back, New York City.
