Plain Jane Dupattas
Excited about this fabric! All hand printed, it's a warli motif on silk. Black and white! Tres chic once it's cut, and sewn. Today I discovered what a tress gota trim can do to a plain Jane dupatta. It was a makeover of a dupatta, an input given by my stylish mom. Good that I still listen to maman! I also heard and saw the DVD of the Ferragamo story in my studio today. It was inspirational and timing of the DVD viewing was perfect ! There are no coincidences in life. Xo di.

CoCo and Di.Di
My first trip overseas was to the fashion capital, paris when I was 14. I then spend my twenties in milan, the current fashion capital, and I have three major influences. Coco, Dior and Armani. Coco's story and her aesthetic sensibility and her story just makes me imagine what her life was like. As I sipped a cappuccino at the cafe opposite rue cambon 31, I imagined her first store and her walking in from her apartment down the street......
